Started investigation

Before i start my major investigation i want to get some insight of what i am going to do.
Therefore i have started watching a video series named 'How to Direct a Movie: Independant Filmmaking' by expert Rhett Reiger. These videos talk a lot about all the different things that i am going to have to do. I am enjoying these and also gaining some more knowledge. Wants i completely understand the task that i am going to undertake, i will start my major investigation.

Planning

Thank you sir, I have currently been able to write my first process journal entry. I have also started to think about my areas of research so that i can start my investigation. I am currently working on a gantt chart about my time plan for the entire project.

It Starts Today

Hello !



I am Caleb Munyasya and go to the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa. I am doing my Personal Project which is going to be a movie. Today I created my blog after discussing with my supervisor (Mr. Gioko) that this was a very good way to communicate. Today I’m just going to write all my starting ideas on where I am now and from here I’ll keep updating and moving along…

Introduction

My Project Title = "Director In The Making"

-Movie – the main statement that it revolves around is..

-Movie involves from choices teenagers make:


-Stealing

-Lying

-Fighting

-Gambling

-Alcohol etc…


-Results in bad behavior, bad grades, suspension and nearly an expulsion.


-Very basic Plot:


Main character is a boy from a poor family. He does not have a lot of money so he does the wrong things to try and get money (things listed above). He then winds up in a lot of problems. Then throws away all these habits and only focuses on school, studies hard, looses bad friends etc. He starts making the right choices so that he can have a bright future. Towards the end of the movie, his work pays off. He gets a scholarship to a top university, leading him to a bright future.
